Important Updates to Your Pantheon Account

Dear Valued Customer,

We hope this email finds you well. We wanted to inform you about some important updates to your Pantheon account, effective March 4, 2024. These changes are designed for you - to provide more flexibility and value while strengthening your confidence in us as your trusted business partner.

  1. We've revamped our site visitor overage policy to improve predictability and save you money.  
    • No more automatic plan upgrades. Overages will now be billed as a one-time fee. Starting from January 1, 2024, if your site exceeds the included visitor limit in your subscription, you will be billed $40 for each additional 10,000 site visitors or portion thereof. We will no longer automatically upgrade customers to higher plan levels when visitor limits are exceeded, dramatically reducing your costs if overages occur.
    • We are enhancing Overage Protection. All Pantheon customers, except for those on Basic and monthly plans, will have one month of overages waived every 12 months during the subscription term. Qualifying nonprofit organizations will receive four months of Overage Protection.
  2. Starting March 4, all Basic and Performance annual subscribers will enjoy a 40% increase in their traffic limits. This upgrade will be applied automatically to your account, regardless of your contract renewal date. The higher visitor limits are designed to eliminate nearly half of all overages among Pantheon customers and to minimize your risk of incurring overages in the future.
  3. Qualifying nonprofit organizations will receive Preferred Pricing. For the first time ever, qualifying nonprofit groups will receive Preferred Pricing and our best-in-class four months of overage protection.
  4. After 6 years of flat rates, we are implementing a modest price increase for monthly subscriptions on March 4, 2024. Annual subscription prices will remain flat for the 7th year in a row.

    • Monthly subscribers can maintain your current investment by switching to an annual plan; this also unlocks traffic limit benefits (detailed above).
